A Antropologia do Desporto não é uma das grandes áreas académicas consolidadas na sua conexão à filosofia do desporto. Isto porque, por um lado, a própria antropologia filosófica se transformou num espaço esquecido, e tantas vezes pilhado, e por outro, porque a grande parte da literatura está dispersa, ligada aos gostos pessoais dos autores ou a nichos muito específicos de investigação. Neste sentido, a proposta de realizar esta conferência teria a sua utilidade máxima no serviço à constituição do estado da arte, mas também na oportunidade de consolidação da própria área de estudos. Historicamente, a antropologia do desporto está numa encruzilhada doutrinária entre os que se cristalizaram nas concepções biológicas e culturais, dos autores mais clássicos, e os que se desenvolveram por relação aos contextos locais e etnográficos, de temáticas ou objectos de estudo particulares, permitindo uma quase autonomização e infinita fragmentação. Se pudéssemos desenhar um horizonte ideal como plataforma seria a de uma ponte comum que permitisse o encontro entre a tradição e a inovação, e encontrar nesse espaço móvel a antropologia do desporto como território interdisciplinar na confluência da Antropologia filosófica, histórica e cultural do desporto. No fundo seria repensar a antropologia do desporto à luz dos seus inexplícitos princípios: alteridade-diversidade-identidade. E resgatar a aura arqueológica da antropologia do desporto na continuação e respeito pelo seu estudo do passado, mas também na afirmação do presente, na atenção e cuidado da contemporaneidade.

A conferência ANTROPOLOGIA DO DESPORTO focada na relação entre Antropologia Filosófica e o Desporto, visa também abrir o campo de reflexão a diferentes áreas do conhecimento, pretendendo proporcionar a oportunidade de pensar livremente e ter a maior abrangência possível. Oferecendo um ambiente académico heterogéneo e interdisciplinar, onde a Filosofia do Desporto certamente proporcionará um horizonte aberto para reflexões e contribuições de todo o espectro do conhecimento académico, promove-se a abertura de partilha de pesquisa, pensamento e prática.

A conferência terá um espírito livre, mas incentiva a submissão de propostas, apenas como indicação, nos seguintes temas:

  1. Antropologia Filosófica

  2. Multiplicidade da Antropologia, Etnologia e Etnografia

  3. Autores

  4. Memória e tradição lúdica

  5. História do desporto: antiguidade, modernidade e contemporaneidade

  6. Gesto, palavra e jogos

  7. Culturas locais, comunidades e geografias singulares

  8. Movimento e cultura indígena

  9. Geografias globais e novas geografias

  10. Antropologia, tecnologia: presente e futuro

  11. Estudos de caso e/ou áreas diversas: economia, religião, política, etc

  12. Artes (música, fotografia, teatro, pintura, cinema, etc)

  13. Desporto, jogo e corpo

  14. Ritual e história

  15. etc

 

Os resumos devem ser enviados para o endereço de email constantinomar@gmail.com .

Não devem ultrapassar 500 palavras com pequena nota biográfica, podendo ser submetidos em Português ou Inglês.

As apresentações terão duração de 20 minutos em Português ou Inglês.

Os textos da conferência serão publicados em formato impresso e e-book em Português e Inglês.

 

A participação (online ou presencial) são livres e gratuitas.

The Anthropology of Sport is not one of the major academic fields consolidated in its connection to the Philosophy of Sport. This is because, on the one hand, philosophical anthropology itself has become a forgotten, and often pillaged, space, and on the other, because much of the literature is scattered, linked to the personal tastes of the authors or to very specific niches of research. In this sense, the proposal to hold this conference would have its maximum utility in serving the maping of the state of the art, but also in the consolidation of the area of studies itself. Historically, the anthropology of sport is at a doctrinal crossroads between those that have crystallized in the biological and cultural conceptions, of the more classical authors, and those that have developed their studies in relation to local and ethnographic contexts, of particular themes or objects, approaching an almost autonomization and infinite fragmentation. If we could draw an ideal horizon as a platform, it would be that of a common bridge that would allow the encounter between tradition and innovation, and finding in this mobile space the anthropology of sport as an interdisciplinary territory at the confluence of philosophical anthropology, history and cultural anthropology. In essence, it would mean rethinking the anthropology of sport in the light of its inexplicit principles: alterity-diversity-identity. And rescue the archaeological aura of the anthropology of sport in the continuation and respect for its study of the past, but also in the affirmation of the present, in the attention and care of contemporaneity.

The conference ANTHROPOLOGY OF SPORT focused on the relationship between Philosophical Anthropology and Sport, also aims to open the field of reflection to different areas of knowledge, intending to provide the opportunity to think freely and have the widest possible scope. Offering a heterogeneous and interdisciplinary academic environment, where the Philosophy of Sport will certainly provide an open horizon for reflections and contributions from across the spectrum of academic knowledge, promoting the sharing of research, thought and practice .

The conference will have a free spirit, but encourages the submission of proposals, as an indication only, on the following topics:

4. Memory and ludic tradition

5. History of sport: antiquity, modernity and contemporaneity

6. Gesture, word and games

11. Case studies and/or diverse areas: economics, religion, politics, etc.

Abstracts should be sent to constantinomar@gmail.com with a small biographical note and may be submitted in English or Portuguese.

Presentations will be 20 minutes in English or Portuguese.

Conference proceedings will be published in e-book format in English and Portuguese.
