Notes on Galeno, the notion of health and the medical-philosophical discussion on causality

Resumo:

The aim of this article is to analyze some concepts of causality that came out in the medical and philosophical debate of antiquity, and its relation with the notion of health. In particular, this article focuses on Galen?s developments of the Hippocratic medicine due to Erasistratus? objections.
