Resumo:

Este artigo constitui a primeira parte do trabalho de pesquisa que realizou, de maneira inédita, a primeira listagem completa das referências bibliográficas lusófonas acerca das filosofias neoplatônicas tardo-antigas. Neste, se explica a origem, os objetivos e os desafios deste trabalho, a lista dos autores e das obras procuradas, a metodologia empregada e o estado da catalogação dos periódicos pesquisados por mim em 2003 nos acervos portugueses e em 2009-2010 nos acervos brasileiros.
