O destino de Lisístrata. Uma adaptação para o cinema da comédia de Aristófanes

Resumo:

Nesse artigo faz-se uma análise do episódio“Lisístrata”, dirigido por Christian-Jaque para o filme Destinode Mulher (Destinées, França, 1954), uma adaptaçãopara o cinema da comédia homônima composta porAristófanes em 411 a. C. Estudou-se o episódio em seucontexto, atentando para os pressupostos que determinarama adaptação da peça grega, bem como a sua recepção noséculo XX. Especulou-se sobre outras possibilidades de transpora comédia grega para o cinema, exemplificando com achanchada Carnaval Atlândida (Brasil, 1952).
